Laura Linney, best known for playing strong, yet vulnerable characters, is one of the most well-known American actors of the present. In the summer, while working at the company of her father, Laura Linney became fascinated by theatre. Then, at Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. When she graduated at Brown University she made making her Broadway debut soon afterward. Within two years of the time, her debut film was released and the next year her TV debut. Since then, she's performed in many films and stage and television productions. During her career she received numerous awards including her two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all these awards, her passion for theater is still there, and she performs in the stage and on screen.
