April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. In the seventh grade she began to take guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for music writing. When she was in seventh grade, April began taking piano and guitar lessons. The lessons sparked her passion in writing songs. She spent lots of the time of 14 making songs and practicing music. After that, she started taking trips to write with her father in NY and LA. April included other subjects in her track, Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt issues like peer pressure, issues or even teenage suicide thinking. Lockhart is a partner at famous clean beauty brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer who has a growing fan base. She has a disability that is a component of her personality, but it is not the whole image. As a result Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't shy away from her disability, but the focus isn't on it either. The point? It's crucial to understand that we all have many faces, our identities are varied and we are much beyond our body. Lockhart in a video message sent from her Nashville home, states I don't want my physical appearance to define myself. I'm much far more than just my physical self. And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting things. Because it's part of who I am, it's something that's worthy of discussion. Lockhart encourages us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. Still, she acknowledges going through phases of insecurity with her body, and also feeling uneasy wearing certain clothing styles that exposed her arms. Nowadays, she can wear whatever she wants. She also posts pictures on social networks. Self-love, she says, is like a journey. "I believe that you'll ever get there," she said. It's a journey, I don't think you ever arrive. It's my opinion that having those around you who really are aware of you and know your feelings is crucial as they'll be the ones who will remind you what you worried about?
